In John.14:26, Jesus said “but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” Also, John.16:12-14 says that “I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now. 13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. 14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you (AMPC).” After regeneration, Holy Spirit does not stop there, his work has just started in our lives. Furthermore, 1John.2:27 says “but the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” The Holy Spirit is in us to teach a new law of the Spirit which can also be referred to as the “The Law of Life”. This law complements the Ten commandments written in the Old Testament. The Old Testament laws are written outside and can be referred to as an outward law, but the law of life is written into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, Jeremiah.31:33, Ezekiel.36:25-28, Hebrews.8:10,16. The law of life is generated from The Spirit of Life, Romans.8:2.

 

What is the law? Law is a natural regulation, it is a constant and unchanging rule. Also, a law is a rule made by an authority and that must be obeyed. A law is commonly made by a government, which citizens must follow or face punishment. Life is accompanied by law, otherwise, there would be chaos and disorderliness in the world. Psalm.19:7-8 “The Lord’s teachings are perfect. They give strength to his people. The Lord’s rules can be trusted. They help even the foolish become wise. The Lord’s laws are right. They make people happy. The Lord’s commands are good. They show people the right way to live (ERV).”
